Update: Deadline for phasing out of the old generation passport

Currently the Embassy does not offer biometric processing for ePassports. But the procedures for applying are as below:

Steps to apply for ePassport

1. Register on www.ecitizen.go.ke
2. Login into your account
3. Click on Directorate of Immigration Services (New Applications)
4. Click on passport application.
5. Read the instructions carefully then fill the application form.
6. Select the mode of payment and pay for the passport fees.
7. Download and print the application form and application receipts.

If you are logged out of your account due to application session timeout:

1. Log back into your account
2. Click on history
3. Select your application (starts with epp1 or cpp1)
4. Click on edit
5. Continue filling your application.
